Job opportunity:  Head of Analytics
Location: London (Clerkenwell)
Salary: £60k - £65k (depending on experience)

Blue Latitude is a young, fast growing strategic interactive business and marketing consultancy based in London with global clients in the following areas:

  • Pharmaceutical & Healthcare, Online Retail, Entertainment & Media and Financial Services
  • Our work is focused on helping clients understand the online market typically within complex or regulated environments
  • The work we undertake for clients is varied and typically focused on delivering value through the development strategy or recommendations based on performance evaluation
  • Due to continued growth, we are recruiting a Head of Analytics to join the team!

Responsibilities:

You will spend the majority of your time running the department by coaching, developing and managing internal knowledge of Analytics. You will also be responsible for growing and developing the analytics service offering to clients by contributing your expert knowledge to analytics projects and reviews. Qualifications and Experience:

  • A commercial leader that has translated a complex end to end analytical and quantitative service to business operations, sales and marketing, business development and non-analytical staff
  • A people manager that has successfully inspired, coached, developed and managed technical and non-technical staff
  • A persuasive leader that has engaged with executive level staff; can engage and influence the business; and present intelligent business strategies to our clients
  • Educated to Bachelors and ideally Masters level that has a very strong analytical background in a complex business
  • An outgoing and visible thought leader in the field of Web Analyticswho would like to raise their profile in the industry

 

Abilities & Skills:

  • Organised, able to multi task, manage others and work well under pressure (or quick to understand and learn new skills)
  • Strong experience with analytics packages such as WebTrends, Omniture and/or Google Analytics
  • Highly numerate, analytical mind capable of quickly and accurately assessing and interpreting data
  • Computer literate (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook etc) with a solid understand how the Web “works”
  • You will be liaising with clients, consultants, analytics staff and directors on a regular basis so good communication / presentation skills are essential
  • Proven experience managing a small team would also be an advantage
  • A technical background with a deep understanding of HTML and JavaScript would be beneficial but is not required
  • An industry thought leader who contributes to online discussions, attends and participates in conferences, writes pieces for industry publications etc.
